Research title: Towards a Socially Sustainable Digital Cultural Heritage: A Case Study on Public Museums in Taiwan
Research summary
‘Digital Humanities’ and ‘Crowdsourcing’ have been two key-words in Yi-Ting Lin's research. Her works aim to seek a sustainable approach to preserving traditional drama in Taiwan. After the rise of Wikimedia caught her attention, she grew interested in crowdsourcing mechanisms and participatory archives. As a PhD student at the University of Glasgow, she studies the licensing mechanisms in participatory archives in a museum setting to preserve heritage in a multicultural context.
