Research title: Facilitators and Barriers to accessing healthcare services among marginalised women in the UK

Research Summary

My research aim to explore the barriers and facilitators of access to healthcare serevices like primary care and mental health services among marginalised women in the UK. Marginalised women experience inequalities in health, and in access to, and experience of, healthcare services (The King’s Fund, 2025). Their health needs are often not fully recognised or addressed by healthcare services (The King’s Fund, 2025). This has led to adverse health outcomes.
