The University's Gilmorehill Campus has now been captured in Google Maps Street View, allowing a virtual tour of the campus from the comfort of your chair.

Google was invited onto the campus last year and the Street View team brought their special tricycle fitted out with panoramic 360 degree cameras which give an eye-level view of the world. The map can be viewed at http://gla.ac/gugooglemap

The trike toured around the various roads and paths on the campus, including the quadrangles and undercroft. The map has been updated with labels identifying buildings, school locations and contact details.

The map will be a useful tool for giving directions to visitors to the University, as well as allowing prospective students to check out the surroundings and provide alumni with an opportunity to relive their time in Glasgow.
