The University of Leicester will host this year's popular event where three professors from the University of Glasgow will present their research

Hosted last year by Glasgow University, this year's BA Festival moves to the University of Leicester to showcase scientists and their research from around the world.

Three professors from Glasgow will be attending;

Professor Simon Garrod, Department of Psychology, will present "Talking in Pictures: Computers and graphical communication". As modern communication devices such as computers and mobile phones enable us to use pictures to communicate, Simon will ask, "A picture may be worth a thousand words, but how do we talk in pictures?"

Professor Stephen Brewster, Department of Computing Science, presents "Visualisation using sound" and Professor Mike Burton, Department of Psychology, will ask, "How does data feel?".
