Four people associated with the University appeared in this year's Birthday Honours List.

Professor Anne Anderson, Professor of Psychology, OBE for services to Social Science.

Professor Steven Beaumont, Director, Institute for System Level Integration, OBE for services to Electronics and Nanotechnology.

Dr Ewan Beaton MacDonald, Senior Lecturer, Department of Public Health, OBE for services to Occupational Medicine.

Dr Tom McKillop, CEO of Astra Zeneca and a graduate and honorary graduate received a knighthood.
