What is Residence Life?

Residence Life is a service offering support to students in University of Glasgow halls and our partner residences.

We are here to help you settle into halls and can share knowedge about independent living and university life. We are also here to listen if you have any questions or something on your mind and can highlight services and activities that you might be interested in.

Main areas that we help students with:
  • Settling into university life and independent living
  • Getting to know your halls and the local area
  • Connecting with students through events and trips
  • Listening and recommending university services and activities
  • Noisy neighbours and getting along with flatmates

At UofG halls, the team can also help with:

  • Physical and mental health first aid and accessing medical help
  • Fire safety and responding to fire alarm activations
  • Arranging emergency repairs out of hours
