SARCS
The NHS Scotland sexual assault self-referral phone service can help to arrange care for you in the days following a rape or sexual assault. The service may be able to arrange for you to have a forensic medical examination (FME) at a SARCS without making a report to the police.

Rape Crisis Scotland
Rape Crisis Scotland provides crisis support for anyone in Scotland affected by sexual violence at any time in their lives. They also provide the Rape Crisis Scotland National Helpline. The Helpline offers free and confidential support and information by phone or email. The helpline can also put you in touch with local rape crisis centres or other services if you need longer-term support.

Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis
Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis provides a free and confidential support service to women and girls who have experienced rape, sexual assault, or sexual abuse.

Police
If you have experienced sexual violence, whether recently or in the past, you can report it to the Police.
In Scotland, definitions of rape and sexual assault are provided by the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
If you want to report a crime directly to the Police directly, you can call the Police non-emergency number 101. If it is an emergency dial 999 and advise that you need to report a sexual assault and would like to speak to one of their specially trained officers.
