 Notes:

1. From 2019-20 - 2021-22 the SFC instituted a minimum Scots/EU target for Medicine within the overall target. This was scrapped from 2022-23.

2. 2020-21 dental students were unable to complete the required face-to-face components of their studies and did not progress. There was no intake/intake targets for 21/22 to compensate.

3. Nursing was previously non-controlled and changed to controlled in the Spring of 2014. For Nursing, RUK students were eligible for funding, regardless of when they started on their courses.  However, this is no longer the case as of 2017-18.

4. In 2018-19 there were 20 FTE places allocated to the Crichton Campus to work with Dumfries and Galloway Council to train teachers in the region. This provision was previously delivered by the University of the West of Scotland and has been transferred to the Crichton Campus by agreement between the two universities and the local authority.

5. Middle Years places were offered in 18-19 and 19-20, from 20-21 these places were no longer offered.

6. Combined Degree is a non-controlled area, though it was included in the SFC letter on controlled targets so it is included here. The University of Glasgow's intake for Combined Degrees includes 20 for provision at the Dumfries campus.  Dumfries add further funded places, which were obtained previously, to set a higher intake target than the 20 shown above.
