Information for Staff Links
The workload for Staff Links is minimal, but your support is valuable.
Why you are important to the success of our service:
- Spreading the word: act as an advocate for our service by highlighting PWS to other staff (meetings or informally) and signposting students
- Staying updated: meet twice annually with the Trainers to stay updated on developments in the service
- Marketing: work with the Trainers to developappropriate and effective ways of raising awareness of PWS
- Recruitment: Send applications for training opportunities (1-2 times per academic year)
- Helping students: Facilitate the Supporters' promotional efforts such as printing leaflets, posters, and circulating emails (ad hoc)
How you will be supported:
- The PWS team will send prompters about recruitment and meetings
- You will have a direct link to the PWS Trainers to ask any questions
- You will be added to our online community of students and staff with a shared objective of improving student support
