Student Life Manager
Job Title: Student Life Manager
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm
I am the Manager of the Student Life Service which sits within the Student Life and Student Engagement team within the directorate of Student and Academic Services.
My role is to support and enable the PWS team, which currently includes Emma, Iain and Cara to deliver the Peer Wellbeing Service.
As well as the PWS team, I manage the Residential Life team which works across the University of Glasgow providing support to students who live in our residences.
I have a varied background working in Third, Public and Private sector organizations in Management and Facilitation roles. My interest lies in reducing barriers which impede services and individuals from functioning at their best. As well as qualifications in Community Development, Management, and Facilitation I am also a qualified Mindfulness Teacher.
In my free time I love being outdoors, cycling and hillwalking. I am also a bit of a foodie so will often be found trying out a new restaurant!
