Meet ‘World Changing Glasgow’

Our brand is changing as part of a campaign to reposition our University in a competitive global market place. We’re saying goodbye to our Inspiring People brand message and a big hello to World Changing Glasgow.

Thank you to everyone who has used Inspiring People in their print and digital materials over the last two years. There’s absolutely no doubt that here at Glasgow we are inspiring people who change the world, but it’s time to take a refreshed approach to our brand.

Our brand essence, ‘where people inspire people to change the world’ is strong and built on robust research and insight.

As a University that aims to be recognised internationally as world-class, demonstrating and evidence-basing the impact of the many ways that we are changing the world is crucial.

For that reason, we have developed a core brand message of WORLD CHANGING GLASGOW. This message remains true to our brand essence and directly aligns to the ambitions of the strategic plan.

As we near closer to the end of our 2020 vision to be a world-class, world-changing university, communicating the right messages, to the right people at the right time has never been so important.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be telling you more about our overarching campaign Meet World Changing Glasgow, but for now, here is what you need to know about our new core brand message:

With the exception of student recruitment campaigns, World Changing Glasgow should now be applied to all newly created print and digital communications materials

We don’t expect you to replace any information containing the Inspiring People branding right away, but it should be updated when you next refresh your materials
