Pain in the neck?

Published: 6 February 2017

Do you work at a computer? A new online training course will help you avoid neck pain, backache, eyestrain and tension.

If your working environment isn't set up right, long hours at your computer can lead to backache, neck pain, eyestrain, tension and irritability. This applies whether you're working in an office, at home or on the move.

To help keep everyone comfortable, the University has introduced online training and online Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Self Assessment. Take the training to learn, at your own pace, how you might be at risk and what to do about it, then complete a self-assessment to see how your working environment rates.
