Join the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit at UofG for this interactive debate event as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.

Our researchers will describe some of their latest findings on youth smoking including how policy changes such as the comprehensive ban on smoking in public places have impacted on smoking among our nation’s young people, and research into the use of e-cigarettes by young people in the UK.

The audience will have opportunities to pose questions and join the debate as a panel of experts including Sheila Duffy of ASH Scotland and Professor Shona Hilton from the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit, discuss the implications of these findings for the goal of a tobacco-free generation.
