Two UofG students to make Future News

Two of the University’s students have been selected to take part in Future News Worldwide 2018.

Two of the University’s students have been selected to take part in Future News Worldwide 2018 – a partnership between the British Council and some of the world’s leading media organisations, including Reuters, CNN, Facebook and Google News Lab.

Jonathan Peters, a Media, Communications and International Journalism student, and Ashleigh Hanna, who is studying English Literature, will take part in a conference at the Scottish Parliament on July 5 and 6 for 100 young aspiring global journalists.

They will receive coaching from some of the world’s most high-profile editors, broadcasters, writers and reporters.

The programme is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students of any degree aged 18-25 who are interested in journalism.
