Before joining UofG, Steph was Director of Heritage Collections at the University of Amsterdam. He is an art historian by background with an international reputation in cultural heritage and museum collections and more than 25 years of experience in the cultural sector. He took up the post of Director of the Hunterian museum and Art Gallery on 1 August 2017
