New Director Development and Alumni

The University has announced a new Director of Development and Alumni, following the retirement of Cathy Bell.
The University of Glasgow has announced that Frances Shepherd has been appointed Director of Development and Alumni.
Fran will take up the post on 4 December following the retirement of Cathy Bell. She will report to Rachel Sandison, Executive Director of External Relations, and work closely with the Principal, other senior officers and alumni, friends and supporters of the University.
Commenting on the appointment, Rachel Sandison said: "Fran's rich experience, expertise and enthusiasm will be invaluable as we move towards a public launch of the largest fund-raising campaign in the University's history.
"Since joining the University of Glasgow from Strathclyde in 2013, she has proved herself a vital member of the team. I very much look forward to working with Fran in her new role".
