Come along to the workshop designed for and delivered by UofG students. They're running from this week until mid-March. New advice videos are also available.
The Students' Representative Council and Rape Crisis Scotland bring you a broad-based, holistic workshop: Let’s Talk About Sexual Violence.
This workshop is for everyone: any age, gender, orientation, or level of prior knowledge, all are welcome. Each date is an open session so you don't even have to register in advance (though you can if you want).

What’s involved?
Designed for and delivered by UofG students, the 90-minute workshop is based on discussion and activity, and covers:
- What is sexual violence?
- Supporting survivors
- Consent: what it is and how we practise it
- Being an active bystander
- Where to find support
Since its launch in September 2016, the Let’s Talk About Sexual Violence workshop has been delivered to Freshers’ Helpers and Living Support Assistants, and at open sessions throughout semester 1. 94% of participants rated the session 'excellent' or 'very good'.

FAO Staff
UofG’s Gender Based Violence Strategy Group are also developing a workshop for staff, based around the recommendations of the Universities UK Taskforce to examine violence against women, harassment and hate crime affecting university students’. The first workshop will take place in March…watch this space for more information.
