There will be a 12-hour power shutdown at the Boyd Orr Building on Sunday, September 10, from 8am to 8pm.

This power shutdown is essential for the relocation of the High Voltage (HV) transformer on Level 1 as part of the refurbishment works in the building.

The shutdown was scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 20, but had to be postponed because of technical problems.

The University apologises for any inconvenience caused. The Estates team also need your help: unless you let them know about your power requirements, they can't take mitigating action in advance.
Anyone who has a critical power requirement should email Robin Andrews: robin.andrews@glasgow.ac.uk
