University of Glasgow a cappella singing group Choral Stimulation have beaten off competition from around 400 choirs to reach the televised heats of The Naked Choir.

The Naked Choir features eight a cappella groups singing without instuments or backing and Choral Stimulation will be featured on the show tonight ( 29 September) on BBC2 at 9pm.

Choral Stimulation's Peter Malone said: " We are a completely randon group of people but we have this one amazing shared interest.

" And the a cappella group is a safe place where we can come together and forget everything else.

" It's been really hard work, singing until 2am at times in rehearsals and the logistics of getting us all together for filming. But it's been a great experience."
