Biography:

David Purdie is one of the country’s most celebrated public speakers.

His seriously amusing after-dinner speeches are in demand for Corporate, Charity and Private functions and Dinners - while his more serious Lectures cover the fields of English and Scottish literature, medicine and philosophy.

He is highly experienced in the art & craft of public speaking, advising several Members of the House of Commons and also leading figures in the Sports and Showbusiness fields.

The author of the humorous column in Golf International he was speechwriter for Sam Torrance, when Captain of the European Ryder Cup team.

He also freelances on Medicine and Literature for the broadsheet press and the BBC.
