Public Engagement at the Panto

Glasgow Science Festival is seeking volunteers to help run some ‘science stalls’ at a unique show which blends pantomime with fun, interactive science.

On 8-11 December 2015, children from across Glasgow will attend the Barras Art and Design Venue (BAaD) for performances of “Panto Science: The Periodic Fable”, a unique show which blends pantomime with fun, interactive science.

The show had its debut at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe; the Barras shows will the first to be staged in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for children to meet real life scientists and engineers!

Glasgow Science Festival is seeking volunteers to help run some ‘science stalls’, with hands-on activities for children prior to or after the performance.

You can bring your own activity, or help run an activity provided by Glasgow Science Festival.

After the activities are finished, sit back and enjoy the show!

From Tuesday to Friday there will be 8 performances in total, with two per day in the morning and afternoon (exact times are TBC). You are welcome to get involved with as many shows as you like.  Refreshments will be provided.
