UofG Singapore signs MOU

A memorandum of understanding was signed to jointly research and develop technologies in Intelligent Control and Data Integrity Management for Building Automation.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Glasgow, University of Glasgow Singapore (UGS), Republic Polytechnic (RP) and the A*Star Institute of Infocomm Research (I2R)  to jointly research and develop technologies in Intelligent Control and Data Integrity Management for Building Automation.

Led by Dr Cindy Goh from the School of Engineering and Dr Sye Loong Keoh from the School of Computing Science at UGS, this partnership forms a unique ecosystem which will see key academic and research institutions working closely together towards research areas that are important and well aligned to Singapore’s vision to become a smart nation and smart city.

Jointly, this collaboration aims to develop mutually beneficial outcomes – to explore new research topics and knowledge exchange mechanisms.

The partnership will also see students from Republic Polytechnic’s School of Infocomm and the University of Glasgow Singapore’s degree programs in Engineering and Computing Science, work on new capstone projects to develop and grow in-house innovation capabilities.
