You may have recently read media coverage claiming incorrectly that the University of Glasgow plans to rename buildings on campus.

Professor Neal Juster has written to a number of media outlets and the University has also used social media to set the record straight.

It is categorically not the case and never has been the case that existing buildings will be renamed.

This process is still very much in the early stages and the University is not yet in a position to confirm any further details.
