REF reviews will be 'forward-looking'

The University's Vice-Principal Research, Professor Miles Padgett, has paid tribute to his predecessor in post, Professor Steve Beaumont, for his work on REF 2014. He has also spoken about the plans for the external reviews that will follow. The first wave of reviews - about one third of the total - will be completed by July this year. The reviewers will be a mix of internal staff from cognate subjects and external people with REF experience. Watch the interview here...
