Chinese Agent Symposium

In November, the International Officers for East Asia and China hosted the University's Chinese Agent Symposium in Beijing.
In November, the International Officers for East Asia and China hosted the University's Chinese Agent Symposium in Beijing. The event was well attended, with sixteen delegates from the University's major Beijing-based education agencies.
Ms Helen Chen, Trade and Investment Manager for Scottish Development International, was guest speaker at the event, and her presentation on Scotland and the growth of Scottish-Chinese collaborative ventures set the tone perfectly for the afternoon.
The Agent Symposium was introduced in 2013 to deepen working relationships with UofG's Chinese agents, and to improve communication channels with these key student recruiters.
