Opportunities are available for funded fellowships. Find out more.

To support the growth of its global reputation for world-changing research, the University of Glasgow is investing in the recruitment of outstanding early career researchers to its Lord Kelvin Adam Smith (LKAS) Research Fellowship Schemes.

Two types of Fellowship are available:

  • Leadership Fellowships: Funding is available to attract and support externally funded fellowships to be held in the University of Glasgow. Up to £100k is available to match-fund the Fellow’s salary and/or provide a research support grant.
  • Fully Funded Fellowships: University-funded fellowships will be available in specific subject areas. Fellowships run for three years and include salary (Grade 7/8) and research costs.

Fellows will be part of an existing network and will receive both mentorship and tailored support through the University’s early career development programme.
