Golf day raises money for Arthritis Research UK

The Institute of Infection Immunity and Inflammation & Welcome Trust Centre for Molecular Parasitology recently held a charity golf day at Buchanan Castle Golf Club.

The Institute of Infection Immunity and Inflammation (3I's) & Welcome Trust Centre for Molecular Parasitology recently held a charity golf day at Buchanan Castle Golf Club, writes Alexandra Mackay.

The event attended by the Glasgow Business Community was a great success raising hundreds of pounds for Arthritis Research UK.

Those leading the golfing challenge included Director of 3I's Professor Iain McInnes and Head of Immunobiology Professor Paul Garside who won the best dressed golfer trophy.

The silver Quaich winner's trophy was carried off by life sciences company VWR.

The event was so successful it will be added to the Institute's annual charity calendar.
