The Winter Graduation Ceremonies will shortly be taking place. Staff are warmly invited to attend the services beforehand in the University Chapel.
The Winter Graduation Ceremonies will shortly be taking place. Staff are warmly invited to attend the services beforehand in the University Chapel. For those wishing to take part in the academic processions for the chapel service, please go to the Forehall corridor 10 mins prior to the start of the service. Service times are noted below :-
- Monday 2 December Chapel Service 10:30
- Tuesday 3 December Chapel Service 09:30
- Tuesday 3 December Chapel Service 14:45
- Wednesday 4 December Chapel Service 10:30
- Thursday 5 December Chapel Service 10:30
- Friday 6 December Chapel Service 10:30
A Graduation Mass of Thanksgiving for Roman Catholic graduands and their guests will be held at 9:15am (for 11.00am ceremonies), 10.15am (for 12 noon ceremonies) and 2.15pm (for 4.00pm ceremonies) at Turnbull Hall, 15 Southpark Terrace.
If you would like to take part in the academic procession for the Graduation ceremony, then please go to the Hunterian Museum 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Please note the start times below :-
- Monday 2 December Graduation Service 12:00
- Tuesday 3 December Graduation Service 11:00
- Tuesday 3 December Graduation Service 16:00
- Wednesday 4 December Graduation Service 12:00
- Thursday 5 December Graduation Service 12:00
- Friday 6 December Graduation Service 12:00
Gowns can be hired for staff wishing to take part free of charge and the order must be placed by 8 November 2013 or a charge will be incurred by the University which will be passed on to you. For gown hire, please email Staffgowns@glasgow.ac.uk with details about Height, Awarding University, Degree Awarded and the date of the ceremony for which the gown is required.
