The University is hosting two children’s events at this year’s West End Festival.  Award winning illustrator Nick Sharratt and Julia Donaldson, most famously, the author of The Gruffalo, will be providing two fun filled sessions in the Kelvin Gallery on Saturday 8th June.

Nick Sharratt’s event at 11am celebrates socks with a session using his new fantastically funny picture book aptly entitled “Socks”.

Then at 2.30pm, Nick is joined by Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo as well as many other children’s picture books, novels and plays.  In their new book, the animals get together for a sing song – so why not join them!

Each event costs £5.  Tickets are available from the Glasgow University bookshop in the Fraser Building and are available now.

There will also be an opportunity to buy signed copies of the books afterwards. (Suitable for 3 up and families).
