The Ferguson Bequest Committee meet bi-annually to make allocations to various University staff clubs and societies. They will be considering all new submissions for funding within 2013/14 at their next meeting on 13 May.  Application forms are available from the Court Office and any GU staff club or society wishing to make a submission should send to the Court Office, marked “Ferguson Bequest”, no later than 26 April. 

There are a variety of corporate memberships available to all University staff including, Kelburn Castle & Country Centre, Falkirk Wheel, Our Dynamic Earth and many more.  A recent addition to the scheme, proving very popular, is Nuffield Health – a facility just 10 minutes from the main Campus, providing gym, pool and fitness class facilities.  There are also several ballots throughout the year for theatre tickets, allowing staff the opportunity to experience their favourite shows. Please note that the Ferguson Bequest Corporate Membership schemes are available to all members of staff of the University holding a contract of employment.  This does not include individuals who are employed directly by other organisations but paid via the University payroll.
