The Teaching Excellence Awards were introduced in 2005-06 to recognise and celebrate members of staff whose teaching is of a particularly high standard

The Teaching Excellence Awards were introduced in 2005-06 to recognise and celebrate members of staff whose teaching is of a particularly high standard.  The University is delighted to confirm that both Graduate Teaching Assistants and University staff will be eligible to receive awards.  Full details of the revised Teaching Excellence Awards process, and the criteria against which nominations will be reviewed, are provided at: http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/learningteaching/awardsandfunds/teachingexcellenceawards/

The Students' Representative Council will be running student-led teaching excellence awards for the third time this session. Full details of their awards scheme have been emailed to students, and these can be found on the SRC website: http://glasgowstudent.net/events/stas/

The closing date for the nominations of the University's 2012-13 Teaching Excellence Awards is Monday 25 February 2013.
