Students to vote on Scottish Independence

As reported in the last edition of campus e-news, a student referendum on Scottish independence will take place this Thursday.

As reported in the last edition of Campus E-News, a student referendum on Scottish independence will take place this Thursday 21 February. All matriculated students are eligible to take part in the poll, on the question of “Should Scotland be an independent country”. There’s already been considerable interest in the event, with print, TV and radio coverage across a range of outlets. Expect more media presence over the next few days.  

Eight student societies - including the Dialectic Society, Feminist Society, and the various political societies –organised the vote, and the result is due to be declared on Thursday evening.
