The Gilmorehill Halls Re-Launch Festival is underway in celebration of the successful completion of the building works, writes Dr Anselm Heinrich, Head of Theatre Studies.

Gilmorehill HallsWe are going to have events over three nights between 28 and 30 November 2013. ‌

THURSDAY 7pm: the director, film critic, and our honorary Professor of Film Studies, Mark Cousins, will present a screening of his new documentary film ‘A Story of Children and Film’. After its premiere at Cannes and before its UK wide release in 2014 we are delighted to present a special University of Glasgow preview of Mark’s film in the  Andrew Stewart Cinema. 7pm start, the screening will be followed by a small wine reception. SATURDAY 6pm: we are going to have a reception in the James Arnott Theatre at which we are also going to launch the new Theatre, Film and Television Studies Postgraduate Scholarship Fund.
