The Glasgow Science Festival has been successful in securing a media partnership with the Glasgow Evening Times.

The Glasgow Science Festival has been successful in securing a media partnership with the Glasgow Evening Times.  Launched in 2007, the Festival seeks to showcase the incredible contribution Glasgow based research and researchers do in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine.

Last year the event attracted over 40 thousand members of the public, school pupils and teachers to a wide variety of events and the organisers are hopeful that the new partnership will help greatly in raising the profile of the Festival to reach new audiences.

This year, the Festival’s theme is ‘Glasgow, Naturally’ and will feature events as varied as a floating laboratory, the science behind whisky making to Scotland in Space.  It takes place between 6th – 16th June 2013.

Dr Deborah McNeill, Festival Director said: “I am absolutely delighted to report that the Evening Times was very keen to enter into a media partnership with GSF. This is a very welcome development and will help us immensely with raising profile across the city.”
