Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anton Muscatelli, has made it clear that much work remains to be done before any final decisions are taken over a move by the Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery to the Kelvin Hall.  It follows media speculation at the weekend that an agreement, including Glasgow City Council and Glasgow Life, had already been completed.

Professor Muscatelli said: “There are some key dimensions of the project which have yet to be clarified and we are developing a range of options for Court to consider alongside the Kelvin Hall option.

"Court will receive an update on the project at its  meeting later this month.”

The Hunterian is Scotland's oldest public museum and home to one of the largest collections outside the National Museums. Its collections have been recognised as a Collection of National Significance.
