University of Glasgow Professor Joins Scottish Government High Level Working Group

Alan McGregor, Professor of Economic Development and Director of the Training and Employment Research Unit(TERU)has been invited to advise on the implementation of the Scottish Government's Regeneration Strategy.
Alan McGregor, Professor of Economic Development and Director of the Training and Employment Research Unit (TERU) within the Adam Smith Business School, has been invited by the Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure and Capital Investment to join the new Regeneration High Level Working Group to advise on the implementation of the Scottish Government’s Regeneration Strategy.
Alan has been involved in research on regeneration over a number of decades with a particular focus on economic development and employment issues. Between 1989 and 2011 he sat on the Boards of the Castlemilk Economic Development Agency and Glasgow South East Regeneration Agency. He recently led the development of a strategy for the new Glasgow Regeneration Agency.
