A new documentary series, filmed at the Hunterian Museum will be broadcast on BBC2 tonight at 9pm.
Prehistoric Autopsy will see presenters Alice Roberts and George McGavin take viewers on an evolutionary journey to meet our ancient ancestors.
Through anatomists, anthropologists, archaeologists and SFX gurus, the BBC will attempt to reconstruct a Neanderthal to provide a unique insight into how Neanderthals looked, lived and how they compared to us today.
