December pay arrangements

This December's payroll will move to Friday 21st December
You will know that the University will be closing, for most staff, on Friday 21st December for the holiday break.
Salaries are normally paid on the last working day of a month, but given the closure of offices for the holiday break, pay-day will move to FRIDAY 21st December. This will ensure that payroll staff are available to answer any queries on pay-day.
Payment claims (apart from expenses claims) must be submitted by the 5th working day in a month, and this is unchanged for December – claims need to be submitted by the 7th.
The January 2013 pay date will be the 31st .
