As part of our internationalisation activity, the University has gained three months free access to the web-content of The Chronicle of Higher Education (www.chronicle.com), a publication in the US similar to the Times Higher.

It is an opportunity for staff (and students) to read more about the issues concerning those in HE in the US. It is also a chance to understand how we might engage with the publication more – from submitting news items or pitching opinion articles from staff.

The publication is read by senior academics in US Higher Education and could be an excellent platform for raising the profile of Glasgow in the US and showcasing our research quality, student experience and high-quality staff.

Any colleagues with news or potential opinion articles they would like to submit to the Chronicle can contact the Media Relations Office which can help them pitch their ideas.

To gain access to the site all you need to do is register for free at http://chronicle.com/myaccount/createfreeaccount

All glasgow.ac.uk email addresses will be able to access content for free for three months. If you have any views on the University securing long-term access to the site, email stuart.forsyth@glasgow.ac.uk
