Life in No. 10 Downing Street, Proteomics, Internationalisation and Teaching and Learning will all be discussed in upcoming events

The former director of political strategy for Gordon Brown is one of four high profile speakers in a roundtable discussion on political life within Downing Street that takes place from 1200-1400 on Friday 9 March in the Senate Room.

New Horizons And  Applications For Proteomics will be held in Glasgow at the Royal Concert Hall from the 10th-12th July 2012.  The closing date for abstracts is the 16th of March.  Full details can be found at www.Eupa2012.org

The university's Internationalisation conference will take place on the 20 March 2012.  The keynote speaker is Dr Chris Yeomans, Head of Policy for the UK Higher Education International Unit, British Council.  His presentation will focus on the major changes, challenges and opportunities for engaging in major European collaborations and funding schemes.

Finally, the annual University of Glasgow Learning and Teaching Conference will be held on the main campus on 17 April 2012.  The theme is "Empowering student learners in higher education."
