Free tickets available to staff

Fancy some theatre or comedy for free?

Theatre tickets are now available for staff to apply for, from the Ferguson Bequest.  Tickets are available for the following performances.

  • Streetcar Named Desire; Theatre Royal, Glasgow 
    Thursday 12th April 2012 @ 7.30pm (20 sets of tickets available)
  • Wonderful Town; King's Theatre, Glasgow  
    Thursday 10th May 2012 @ 7.30pm (11 sets of tickets available)
  • Tosca; Theatre Royal, Glasgow
    Thursday 10th May 2012 @ 7.15pm (10 sets of tickets available)
  • Cirque du Ceil; Theatre Royal, Glasgow
    Wednesday 16th May 2012 @ 7.30pm (20 sets of tickets available)
  • Murder on the Nile; Theatre Royal, Glasgow
    Thursday 28th June 2012 @ 7.30pm (20 sets of tickets available)

Due to the high volume of requests for the tickets, a ballot is in place.  Staff should apply by 15 March 2011 and the ballot will be drawn on the 16th.  Those successful will then be contacted.  Full details and how to enter the ballot is available here: http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/courtoffice/fergusonbequest/theatreballot  

Glasgow staff are also eligible for 2 for 1 tickets to selected shows at the Glasgow Comedy Festival.  In it’s tenth year, the festival has grown to over 330 shows in 40 venues across the city with something to suit every age, taste and budget.
