The School Of Veterinary Medicine is pleased to announce the introduction of a new first opinion out of hours emergency service commencing September 2011.
The service will be based in the new award-winning Small Animal Hospital.

The service is being introduced to support local practitioners in the provision of emergency care for their clients pets. Practices involved in the initiative will direct their clients to the Small Animal Hospital overnight, at weekends and on bank holiday to a dedicated team which will support these cases. The service is being led by Gerard McLauchlan BVMS MRCVS who recently completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at the School. Referral emergency cases will continue to be supported as normal by the dedicated specialist team.

If you would like to find out more about this service please contact the Small Animal Hospital on 0141 330 5848 or access our website www.glasgow.ac.uk/sah
