Careers Service pips Cambridge at the post for national award

The 2011 Glasgow Careers Service Guide won an award, given by GTI, for “Best Careers Service Guide in the UK and Ireland”
The 2011 Glasgow Careers Service Guide won an award, given by GTI, for “Best Careers Service Guide in the UK and Ireland”
The publication, organised by Careers Adviser Dr Archie Roy, beat 25 other institutions to gain the award, with the mighty Cambridge a runner-up!
Writing to Pete Howard (Corporate Communications), who produced the attractive cover design, Archie said:
“The cover you designed last year for the 2011 Glasgow Careers Service Guide was one of the reasons we won an award by GTI at a ceremony in London at the end of the year for “Best Careers Service Guide in the UK and Ireland 2010”. So thanks for your design”
The specially commissioned cover photo was taken by Neil Miller of the University's Photographic Unit.
