Cyber assurance input for research funding
Information security plays a key role in all research funding/bid applications to ensure funders and research participants that their personal data and the nature of their research are kept safe.
How data is processed and stored matters
We can provide advice to ensure your data is as secure as possible and guide you through your funding requirements in relation to any information security questions.
To ensure that we have enough time to go through the contract, we ask that your request is submitted at least six weeks before your deadline.
Request cyber assurance advice for funding via the UofG Helpdesk
Please include the following information in your request:
- About the funding body
- Estimated value of funding
- How many staff members will be involved
- Where do you plan to store data
- Data subjects (e.g., children)
- Have you completed a DPIA
- Have you completed your ethics approval
- Have you consulted legal
- Does your contract require specific cyber assurance such as Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+), ISO 27001, or other specifications
