Cyber assurance input for contracts
Information security is important in all university contracts. Cyber assurances help make sure suppliers and partners follow good cyber security practices throughout the contract.
Where data is processed and stored matters
We can provide advice to ensure your data is as secure as possible and guide you through your requirements in relation to any information security questions within your contract(s).
To ensure that we have enough time to go through the contract, we ask that your request is submitted at least six weeks before your deadline.
Request cyber assurance advice for contracts via the UofG Helpdesk
Please include the following information in your request:
- Who the contract company is (e.g., BAE)
- Estimated value of contract
- How many staff members will be involved
- Where do you plan to store data
- Is the contract of a sensitive nature (e.g., military, police, etc)
- Have you completed a DPIA
- Does your contract require specific cyber assurance such as Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+), ISO 27001, or other specifications
- Have you consulted legal
- Who is your procurement contact
