Annotations: Frequent, lengthy marginal annotations in a 15th/16th-century hand (some cropped by binder);  19th-century pencil number “205” on 1/2r;  ink number “18” on verso of front free endpaper;  pencil price(?) code on rear free endpaper “=ou/s”.
Decoration: Six-line initial “B” on 1/2r supplied in red and blue with reserved white;  eight-line initial “B” on 1/3r supplied in red and blue with reserved white and decorated blue pen-work;  other initials and paragraph marks supplied in red throughout;  guide-letters in brown ink frequently visible.
Imperfections: Wanting the first and final blank leaves.
