A six years’ privilege for this book was granted by the Duke of Milan to the printers on 6 July 1481.   For date of printing see BMC and CIBN;  one of the Paris BN copies has a printed letter of dedication to Louis XI dated 3 Feb. 1482;  G. Ianziti, 'Humanistic historiography under the Sforzas' (Oxford:  1988) pp. 211-19, argues that printing  was finished in 1483. – ISTC.

Iesu" in upper margin of a1r;  lot 4483 in 'Catalogue des livres de la bibliothèque des ci-devant soi-disans Jésuites de Collège de Clermont' (Paris:  1764);  sold for 100 livres according to the priced copy of the sale catalogue in University of Glasgow Library.
