Leaf size: 276 x 194 mm.
Annotations: Copious marginal annotations in brown ink in a humanist hand;  leaves foliated (erroneously) in red ink in an early hand ‘1-169’, ‘190’, ‘200’ with an unfoliated leaf between ‘49’ and ‘50’;  the opening page of each part of the text is headed in red ink ‘.i. p[ar]s.’, ‘2. p[ar]s.’, ‘3. p[ar]s.’, ‘4. p[ar]s.’ in the same hand.
Decoration: Initials supplied in red;  chapter headings underlined in red;  paragraph marks supplied in alternate red and faded blue in the tables of contents for each of the four parts of the text.
Imperfections: Wanting the first two quires;  wanting 9/1.10 (ff. 75 and 84) - the missing text of the bifolium supplied in manuscript in an early hand.
