The Regimen sanitatis Salernitatum and accompanying commentary are often wrongly ascribed to Arnoldus de Villa Nova.
Reichling ascribes to press of Nicolas Desprez, ca. 1498;  dated ca. 1498 in IGI.

Provenance: Charles Spencer (1675-1722), 3rd Earl of Sunderland:  shelfmark of the Sunderland Library on first front flyleaf “005:12” in ink, and on the front free endpaper is the subsequent Sunderland shelfmark in pencil “108.B.30” (see S. De Ricci, 'English collectors of books & manuscripts, 1530-1930', p. 39);  lot 152 (p. 12) in 'Bibliotheca Sunderlandiana:  sale catalogue of the truly important and very extensive library of printed books known as the Sunderland or Blenheim Library'.   The first portion, (London:  1881);  sold to Bernard Quaritch for £5.5.0 according to the printed list of prices and purchasers’ names appended to the Sunderland sale catalogue.
