Binding: 18th-century mottled brown calf decorated with triple gold fillets;  red-edged leaves;  repaired and rebacked with brown goatskin by Douglas Cockerell & Son, Feb. 1962;  new plain endpapers;  samples of original spine and marbled endpapers mounted on inside of rear board;  binder’s note tipped onto rear free endpaper.   Size:  248 x 207 mm.
